2-Hour Lampworking Orientation
This Two Hour Orientation will provide you with an insight to lampworking and what it entails. We will give you a tour of the studio and equipment, materials and the basics of lampworking. We will also cover all the safety aspects such as ventilation, eye protection, and how to safely set up a small studio. Demos of a bead will close the class. We want to provide our future students with no prior lampworking knowledge a chance to see what they would be getting into before taking an Intro class. Class begins at 9 am unless otherwise specified. Lecture only. This Orientation is included in all of our Intro Classes!

Intro to Lampwork Boro Bead Making
We begin class with our Orientation, then move on to melting glass and pulling stringers. From there we then move on to the application and forming of clear glass on the mandrel and bead making basics. We then cover your basic shapes round, tube, bi-cone, tab etc. As we progress we begin to incorporate colors and some different techniques such as dots, air traps, and zig zags. Two day class include the fundamentals and proper use of Borosilicate colors and more advanced techniques. All beads can be picked up the following day or shipped for free.
Class is 9:00 - 4:00 with an hour lunch.

Advanced Lampwork
Intro to Boro Lampwork Bead Making or lampworkers with at least 1 year bead making experience is prerequisite.
We will cover the fundamentals and proper use of Borosilicate colors and move onto more advanced techniques. The class can include hollow beads, pendants, implosions, stringer control, cutting and applying dichro, sculptured beads, such as flowers or fish, encased flowers, fuming, coldworking; frits, you pick. This class is customized for you.
All beads can be picked up the following day or shipped for free.

Intro to Lampwork
Marble Making
We begin class with proper set-up, safety, physical and chemical properties of glass, then move on to melting glass. Using clear glass we will demonstrate how to make a clear marble, proper use of a marble mold, and hot and cold punty seals. As we progress we then begin to incorporate color, patterns and basic marble making techniques such as Vortexes and surface patterns. The two day class includes the fundamentals and proper use of Borosilicate colors and more advanced techniques. All marbles can be picked up the following day or shipped for free.

Advanced Lampwork Marble Making
Intro to Lampwork Marble Making or one year glass experience is a prerequisite. This class we like to demonstrate many different styles of marbles. They include butterflies, hollows, different style flowers, and many other popular techniques. All marbles can be picked up the following day or shipped for free.

Studio Rental Time
Lampworking station includes (torch, gas, graphite pad, marver, safety glasses, and kiln ONLY ) $12.00 per hour. All studio time must be scheduled, please no walk ins. All work is to be picked up the following day or can be shipped for $5.00.
Most all Borosilicate, Clear Pyrex and Morretti colors available for purchase by the stick.
